Dr. Dudley M. Hodgkins is a Board Certified Orthodontist who received his Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Southern Methodist University and both his Doctor of Dental Surgery and Master of Science in Dentistry, with certification in Pediatric Dentistry, from Baylor Dental College. After five years of private practice in pediatric dentistry, Dr. Hodgkins pursued his interest in orthodontics and growth and development and returned to school to complete his Orthodontic Specialty training at the University of Louisville Dental College. Upon receiving his certification, he moved to Austin with his wife, Deborah, and one year old son, James.Born in Dallas and raised in Arlington, Texas, Dr. Hodgkins had started on his path to dentistry by high school. By his senior year, he had won Regional Science Fair honors and the Fort Worth District Dental Society Award. An Eagle Scout, Dr. Hodgkins has served in leadership positions, including both Cubs and Boy Scouts. He is a past recipient of the AISD Oak Tree Award and has donated time with the Cleft Lip Palate Team of Children's Hospital. In his spare time, Dr. Hodgkins enjoys golf, boating, computers, guitars and painting.
